There were a total of 2,92,911 registered voters on the electoral rolls for the 2024 Assembly election in Shirdi Assembly constituency, of which 1,49,399 were male, 1,43,504 female and 8 of the third gender. This constituency covers an approximate area of 990.01 square kilometers and the geographic coordinates of Sabalagadh is: 19°39'21.6"N 74°17'21.8"E.

In the 2019 Maharashtra Assembly elections, Vikhe Patil Radhakrishna Eknathrao of BJP won in this constituency beating Thorat Suresh Jagannath of INC by a margin of 86,235 votes which was 46.18% of the total votes cast. In 2014, Radhakrishna Eknathrao Vikhe Patil of INC was the winner in this seat beating Abhay Dattatraya Shelke Patil of SS by a margin of 74,662 votes which was 38.79% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Patil Vikhe Radhakrishna Eknathrao of INC won this seat defeating Dr Pipada Rajendra Madanlal of SS by a margin of 13,309 votes which was 8.73% of the total votes polled for the seat.
