In 2014, Kashiwar Rajesh Lahanu of BJP was the winner in this seat beating Sevakbhau Nirdhan Waghaye of INC by a margin of 25,489 votes which was 11.6% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Nanabhau Falgunrao Patole of BJP won this seat defeating Waghaye Sevakbhau Nirdhan of INC by a margin of 62,915 votes which was 31.12% of the total votes polled for the seat.
