In 2014, Adv Chabukswar Gautam Sukhdeo of SS was the winner in this seat beating Anna Dadu Bansode of NCP by a margin of 2,335 votes which was 1.32% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Anna Bansode of NCP won this seat defeating Amar Shankar Sable of BJP by a margin of 9,527 votes which was 6.5% of the total votes polled for the seat.
