In the 2019 Maharashtra Assembly elections, Dipak Pralhad Chavan of NCP won in this constituency beating Agawane Digambar Rohidas of BJP by a margin of 30,288 votes which was 14.05% of the total votes cast. In 2014, Chavan Dipak Pralhad of NCP was the winner in this seat beating Aagavane Digambar Rohidas of INC by a margin of 33,568 votes which was 16.73% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Chavan Dipak Pralhad of NCP won this seat defeating Baburao Jyotiram Mane of SS by a margin of 39,914 votes which was 26.2% of the total votes polled for the seat.
