In the 2019 Maharashtra Assembly elections, Vijaykumar Krushnarao Gavit of BJP won in this constituency beating Udesing Kocharu Padvi of INC by a margin of 69,870 votes which was 37.07% of the total votes cast. In 2014, Gavit Vijaykumar Krushnarao of BJP was the winner in this seat beating Vasave Kunal Batesing of INC by a margin of 27,118 votes which was 14% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Gavit Vijaykumar Krushnarao of NCP won this seat defeating Natawadkar Suhasini Suhas of BJP by a margin of 23,858 votes which was 13.18% of the total votes polled for the seat.
