In the 2019 Maharashtra Assembly elections, Kshitij Hitendra Thakur of BVA won in this constituency beating Pradeep Rameshwar Sharma of SS by a margin of 43,704 votes which was 16.24% of the total votes cast. In 2014, Kshitij Hitendra Thakur of BVA was the winner in this seat beating Rajan Balkrishna Naik of BJP by a margin of 54,499 votes which was 24.13% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Thakur Kshitiji Hitendra of BVA won this seat defeating Chavan Shirish Jayram of SS by a margin of 40,782 votes which was 24.14% of the total votes polled for the seat.
