In the 2019 Maharashtra Assembly elections, Kotecha Mihir Chandrakant of BJP won in this constituency beating Harshala Rajesh Chavan of MNS by a margin of 57,315 votes which was 37.09% of the total votes cast. In 2014, Sardar Tara Singh of BJP was the winner in this seat beating Charan Singh Sapra of INC by a margin of 65,307 votes which was 38.11% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Sardar Tara Singh of BJP won this seat defeating Dalvi Satyawan Ganpat of MNS by a margin of 27,976 votes which was 18.72% of the total votes polled for the seat.
