In 2014, Jadhav Pradeep Naik of NCP was the winner in this seat beating Bhimrao Ramji Keram of IND by a margin of 4,975 votes which was 2.86% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Jadhav Pradeep Hemsingh (Naik) of NCP won this seat defeating Keram Bhimrao Ramji of BJP by a margin of 18,162 votes which was 12.4% of the total votes polled for the seat.
