In the 2019 Maharashtra Assembly elections, Sawarkar Tekchand Shrawan of BJP won in this constituency beating Suresh Yadavrao Bhoyar of INC by a margin of 11,136 votes which was 04.29% of the total votes cast. In 2014, Chandrashekhar Krushnrao Bawankule of BJP was the winner in this seat beating Rajendra Bhausaheb Mulak of INC by a margin of 40,002 votes which was 17.02% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Chandrashekhar Krishnarao Bawankule of BJP won this seat defeating Gawande Sunita Ramesh of INC by a margin of 31,093 votes which was 16.13% of the total votes polled for the seat.
