In the 2019 Maharashtra Assembly elections, Namita Akshay Mundada of BJP won in this constituency beating Pruthviraj Shivaji Sathe of NCP by a margin of 33,096 votes which was 14.41% of the total votes cast. In 2014, Thombre Sangeeta Vijayprakash of BJP was the winner in this seat beating Namita Akshay Mundada of NCP by a margin of 42,721 votes which was 19.85% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Dr Sou Vimaltai Nandkishor Mundada of NCP won this seat defeating Netke Venkatrao Ramrao of BJP by a margin of 44,264 votes which was 23.13% of the total votes polled for the seat.
