In 2014, Kute Dr Sanjay Shriram of BJP was the winner in this seat beating Balasaheb Alias Prasenjit Kisan Tayde of BBM by a margin of 4,695 votes which was 2.46% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Dr Kute Sanjay Shriram of BJP won this seat defeating Prasenjit Kisan Tayade of BBM by a margin of 4,047 votes which was 2.55% of the total votes polled for the seat.
