In the 2019 Maharashtra Assembly elections, Awale Raju (Baba) Jaywantrao of INC won in this constituency beating Dr Sujit Vasantrao Minachekar of SS by a margin of 6,810 votes which was 02.92% of the total votes cast. In 2014, Dr Minchekar Sujit Vasantrao of SS was the winner in this seat beating Awale Jaywant Gangaram of INC by a margin of 29,370 votes which was 13.11% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Dr Sujit Vasantrao Minachekar of SS won this seat defeating Awale Raju (Baba) Jaywantrao of INC by a margin of 2,004 votes which was 1.03% of the total votes polled for the seat.
