In the 2019 Maharashtra Assembly elections, Jawalgaonkar Madhavrao Nivruttirao Patil of INC won in this constituency beating Kadam Sambharao Urf Baburao Kohalikar of IND by a margin of 13,160 votes which was 06.72% of the total votes cast. In 2014, Ashtikar Patil Nagesh Bapurao of SS was the winner in this seat beating Jawalgaonkar Madhavrao Nivrutirao Pawar (Patil) of INC by a margin of 13,441 votes which was 7.17% of the total votes polled in the constituency.
