In the 2019 Maharashtra Assembly elections, Parag Shah of BJP won in this constituency beating Satish Sitaram Pawar of MNS by a margin of 53,302 votes which was 42.10% of the total votes cast. In 2014, Mehta Prakash Manchhubhai of BJP was the winner in this seat beating Jagdish Chagan Chaudhari of SS by a margin of 40,127 votes which was 28.68% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Mehta Prakash Manchhubhai of BJP won this seat defeating Bakshi Virendra Rajpal of INC by a margin of 10,415 votes which was 8.39% of the total votes polled for the seat.
