In the 2019 Maharashtra Assembly elections, Kunalbaba Rohidas Patil of INC won in this constituency beating Maisaheb Dnyanjyoti Manohar Patil of BJP by a margin of 14,055 votes which was 05.73% of the total votes cast. In 2014, Kunal (Baba) Rohidas Patil of INC was the winner in this seat beating Bhadane Manohar Dattatray of BJP by a margin of 46,082 votes which was 19.65% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Prof Shard Patil of SS won this seat defeating Patil Rohidas Chudaman of INC by a margin of 18,982 votes which was 9.83% of the total votes polled for the seat.
