In the 2019 Maharashtra Assembly elections, Jorgewar Kishor Gajanan of IND won in this constituency beating Nanaji Sitaramji Shamkule of BJP by a margin of 72,394 votes which was 35.69% of the total votes cast. In 2014, Shamkule Nanaji Sitaram of BJP was the winner in this seat beating Kishor Gajananrao Jorgewar of SS by a margin of 30,772 votes which was 15.77% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Shamkule Nanaji Sitaram of BJP won this seat defeating Ramteke Bita Ghansham of INC by a margin of 15,410 votes which was 10.11% of the total votes polled for the seat.
