In 2014, Mahesh (Dada) Kisan Landge of IND was the winner in this seat beating Ubale Sulabha Rambhau of SS by a margin of 15,316 votes which was 6.92% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Vilas Vithoba Lande of IND won this seat defeating Ubale Sulbha Rambhau of SS by a margin of 1,272 votes which was 0.77% of the total votes polled for the seat.
