In 2014, Danave Santosh Raosaheb of BJP was the winner in this seat beating Chandrakant Pundlikrao Danave of NCP by a margin of 6,750 votes which was 3.4% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Chandrakant Pundlikrao Danve of NCP won this seat defeating Danve Nirmalabai Raosaheb of BJP by a margin of 1,639 votes which was 1% of the total votes polled for the seat.
