In the 2019 Maharashtra Assembly elections, Shantaram Tukaram More of SS won in this constituency beating Shubhangi Ramesh Govari of MNS by a margin of 44,373 votes which was 25.68% of the total votes cast. In 2014, Shantaram Tukaram More of SS was the winner in this seat beating Patil Shantaram Dundaram of BJP by a margin of 9,160 votes which was 5.27% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Savara Vishnu Rama of BJP won this seat defeating Patil Shantaram Dundaram of NCP by a margin of 2,291 votes which was 1.69% of the total votes polled for the seat.
