In the 2019 Maharashtra Assembly elections, Narendra Bhojraj Bhondekar of IND won in this constituency beating Arvind Manohar Bhaladhare of BJP by a margin of 23,214 votes which was 09.91% of the total votes cast. In 2014, Avsare Ramchandra Punaji of BJP was the winner in this seat beating Gadhave Dewangana Vijay of BSP by a margin of 36,832 votes which was 15.7% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Bhondekar Narendra Bhojraj of SS won this seat defeating Gadkari Mahendra Husanji of NCP by a margin of 51,554 votes which was 26.08% of the total votes polled for the seat.
