In 2014, Manda Vijay Mhatre of BJP was the winner in this seat beating Ganesh Naik of NCP by a margin of 1,491 votes which was 0.78% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Ganesh Naik of NCP won this seat defeating Haware Suresh Kashinath of BJP by a margin of 12,873 votes which was 8.8% of the total votes polled for the seat.
