In the 2019 Maharashtra Assembly elections, Ajit Aanantrao Pawar of NCP won in this constituency beating Gopichand Kundlik Padalkar of BJP by a margin of 1,64,035 votes which was 69.79% of the total votes cast. In 2014, Ajit Anantrao Pawar of NCP was the winner in this seat beating Balasaheb Alias Prabhakar Dadaram Gawade of BJP by a margin of 89,791 votes which was 39.31% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Ajit Anantrao Pawar of NCP won this seat defeating Taware Ranjankumar Shankarrao of IND by a margin of 1,02,797 votes which was 54.58% of the total votes polled for the seat.
