In the 2019 Maharashtra Assembly elections, Sulbha Sanjay Khodke of INC won in this constituency beating Dr Sunil Panjabrao Deshmukh of BJP by a margin of 18,271 votes which was 10.58% of the total votes cast. In 2014, Dr Deshmukh Sunil Panjabrao of BJP was the winner in this seat beating Raosaheb Shekhawat of INC by a margin of 35,072 votes which was 21.67% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Raosaheb Shekhawat of INC won this seat defeating Dr Sunil Panjabrao Deshmukh of IND by a margin of 5,614 votes which was 4% of the total votes polled for the seat.

In the 2019 Maharashtra Assembly elections, Sulbha Sanjay Khodke of INC had a vote share of 47.81% in this seat.
