In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Pradeep of IND won in this seat defeating Yogendra of BJP by a margin of 3,862 which was 2.49% of the total votes cast for the seat. IND had a vote share of 37.23% in 2018 in this seat.
In 2013, Dr Yogendra Nirmal of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Pradeep Amritlal Jaiswal (Gudda) of INC by a margin of 17,938 votes which was 12.59% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 46.88% in the seat.
In the 2008 elections, Pradeep Amritlal Jaiswal (Gudda) of INC won this seat beating Bodh Singh Bhagat of BJP by a margin of 14,990 votes which was 12.28% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 41.77% in the seat.
