In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Devendra Singh of INC won in this seat defeating Ram Kishan Patel of BJP by a margin of 8,001 which was 4.53% of the total votes cast for the seat. INC had a vote share of 48.94% in 2018 in this seat.
In 2013, Ramkishan Patel of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Bhagwan Singh Rajput of INC by a margin of 44,053 votes which was 29.13% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 60.14% in the seat.
In the 2008 elections, Bhagwan Singh Rajpoot of INC won this seat beating Bhagvat Singh Patel of BJP by a margin of 1,434 votes which was 1.25% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 39.13% in the seat.
