In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Sanjay Shah 'Makrai' of BJP won in this seat defeating Abhijeet Shah of INC by a margin of 2,213 which was 1.56% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 45.15% in 2018 in this seat.
In 2013, Sanjay Shah Makdai of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Ramesh Radhelal Ivne of INC by a margin of 16,507 votes which was 13.67% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 51.76% in the seat.
In the 2008 elections, Sanjay Shah Makdai of IND won this seat beating Mangilal Parte (Guruji) of INC by a margin of 3,691 votes which was 4.53% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 36.64% in the seat.
