In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Vijaypal Singh of BJP won in this seat defeating Satpal Paliya of INC by a margin of 11,417 which was 6.28% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 48.09% in 2018 in this seat.
In 2013, Vijaypal Singh of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Ranveer Singh Galcha of INC by a margin of 28,891 votes which was 16.9% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 54.33% in the seat.
In the 2008 elections, Vijaypal Singh of BJP won this seat beating Meharban Singh Patel of INC by a margin of 16,541 votes which was 14.16% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 48.44% in the seat.
