In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Ramlallu Vaishya of BJP won in this seat defeating Renu Shah of INC by a margin of 3,726 which was 2.5% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 24.63% in 2018 in this seat.
In 2013, Ram Lallu Vaishya of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Bhuvneshwar Prasad Singh Raja Baba of INC by a margin of 10,560 votes which was 7.9% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 36.13% in the seat.
In the 2008 elections, Ram Lallu Bais of BJP won this seat beating Ram Ashok Sharma of INC by a margin of 23,090 votes which was 24.42% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 39.72% in the seat.
