In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Dinesh Rai Munmun of BJP won in this seat defeating Mohan Singh Chandel of INC by a margin of 22,008 which was 10.96% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 49.6% in 2018 in this seat.

In 2013, Dinesh Rai ( Munmun) of IND emerged victorious in this seat beating Naresh Diwakar (D N ) of BJP by a margin of 20,916 votes which was 11.78% of the total votes polled in the constituency. IND had a vote share of 36.84% in the seat.

In the 2008 elections, Neeta Pateriya of BJP won this seat beating Dinesh Rai Munmun of IND by a margin of 12,484 votes which was 9.78% of the total votes polled in the constituency. IND had a vote share of 32.84% in the seat.
