In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Dilip Kumar Makwana of BJP won in this seat defeating Thawarlal Bhuriya of INC by a margin of 5,605 which was 3.46% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 49.3% in 2018 in this seat.

In 2013, Mathuralal of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Smt Laxmi Devi Kharadi of INC by a margin of 26,969 votes which was 19.5% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 55.94% in the seat.

In the 2008 elections, Laxmi Devi Kharadi of INC won this seat beating Mathura Lal Damar of BJP by a margin of 2,551 votes which was 2.51% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 45.88% in the seat.
