In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Phundelal Singh Marko of INC won in this seat defeating Narendra Singh Maravi of BJP by a margin of 21,401 which was 14.49% of the total votes cast for the seat. INC had a vote share of 42.22% in 2018 in this seat.

In 2013, Phundelal Singh Marko of INC emerged victorious in this seat beating Sudama Singh Singram of BJP by a margin of 35,647 votes which was 25.79% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 50.06% in the seat.

In the 2008 elections, Sudama Singh of BJP won this seat beating Phundelal Singh Marko of INC by a margin of 1,440 votes which was 1.37% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 28.88% in the seat.
