In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Brajendra Singh Rathore of INC won in this seat defeating Dr Shishupal Yadav of SP by a margin of 7,620 which was 5.14% of the total votes cast for the seat. INC had a vote share of 35.36% in 2018 in this seat.

In 2013, Anita-Sunil Nayak of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Brajendra Singh Rathore of INC by a margin of 8,627 votes which was 6.48% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 38.43% in the seat.

In the 2008 elections, Brajendra Singh of INC won this seat beating Sunil Nayak of BJP by a margin of 5,239 votes which was 5.26% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 35.23% in the seat.
