In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Rambai Govind Singh of BSP won in this seat defeating Lakhan Patel of BJP by a margin of 2,205 which was 1.34% of the total votes cast for the seat. BSP had a vote share of 23.94% in 2018 in this seat.
In 2013, Lakhan Patel of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Kunvar Pushpendra Singh Hazari of INC by a margin of 7,315 votes which was 5.11% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 41.96% in the seat.
In the 2008 elections, Dr Ramkrishna Kusmariya Babaji of BJP won this seat beating Ku Pushpendra Singh Hajari of BSP by a margin of 621 votes which was 0.56% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BSP had a vote share of 26.99% in the seat.
