In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Sumitra Devi Kasdekar of INC won in this seat defeating Manju Rajendra Dadu of BJP by a margin of 1,264 which was 0.69% of the total votes cast for the seat. INC had a vote share of 46.69% in 2018 in this seat.
In 2013, Rajendra Shyamlal Dadu(Raju Bhaiyya) of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Ramkishan Patel of INC by a margin of 22,178 votes which was 13.18% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 51.82% in the seat.
In the 2008 elections, Rajendra Shyamlal Dadu (Raju Bhaiya) of BJP won this seat beating Ramkisan Patel of INC by a margin of 1,586 votes which was 1.48% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 43.49% in the seat.
