In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Panchu Lal Prajapati of BJP won in this seat defeating Babita Saket of INC by a margin of 18,530 which was 13.95% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 48.54% in 2018 in this seat.

In 2013, Sheela Tyagi of BSP emerged victorious in this seat beating Pannabai Prajapati of BJP by a margin of 275 votes which was 0.23% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BSP had a vote share of 33.08% in the seat.
