In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Anirudha (Madhav) Maroo of BJP won in this seat defeating Umrao Singh Shivlal of INC by a margin of 25,954 which was 16.9% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 56.64% in 2018 in this seat.
In 2013, Kailash Chawla of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Vijendrasingh of INC by a margin of 14,028 votes which was 10.3% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 41.01% in the seat.
In the 2008 elections, Vijendrasingh Malaheda (Vijju Banna) of INC won this seat beating Aniruddha Rameshawar (Madhav Maru) of BJSH by a margin of 5,435 votes which was 4.99% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJSH had a vote share of 35.44% in the seat.
