In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Dr Vijaylaxmi Sadho of INC won in this seat defeating Mev Rajkumar of IND by a margin of 35,836 which was 21.16% of the total votes cast for the seat. INC had a vote share of 49.05% in 2018 in this seat.

In 2013, Mev Rajkumar of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Sunil Khande of INC by a margin of 4,727 votes which was 3.07% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 48.26% in the seat.

In the 2008 elections, Dr Vijaylaxmi Sadho of INC won this seat beating Rajkumar Mev of BJP by a margin of 673 votes which was 0.54% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 46.23% in the seat.
