In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Hina Likhiram Kawre of INC won in this seat defeating Ramesh Deelip Bhatere of BJP by a margin of 18,696 which was 9.93% of the total votes cast for the seat. INC had a vote share of 48.02% in 2018 in this seat.
In 2013, Hina Likhiram Kaware of INC emerged victorious in this seat beating Ramesh Dileep Bhatere of BJP by a margin of 31,750 votes which was 19.08% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 47.5% in the seat.
In the 2008 elections, Ramesh Dileep Bhatere of BJP won this seat beating Pushplata Likhiram Kavre of INC by a margin of 8,224 votes which was 6.04% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 31.2% in the seat.
