In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Sachin Subhashchandra Yadav of INC won in this seat defeating Atmaram - Patel of BJP by a margin of 5,539 which was 3.16% of the total votes cast for the seat. INC had a vote share of 49.07% in 2018 in this seat.
In 2013, Sachin Subhashchandra Yadav of INC emerged victorious in this seat beating Atmaram - Patel of BJP by a margin of 11,805 votes which was 7.44% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 50.21% in the seat.
