In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Om Prakash Sakhlecha of BJP won in this seat defeating Rajkumar Rameshchandra Ahir of INC by a margin of 4,271 which was 3.05% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 37.4% in 2018 in this seat.
In 2013, Om Prakash Sakhlecha of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Rajkumar Rameshchand Aheer of IND by a margin of 13,651 votes which was 10.85% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 44.62% in the seat.
In the 2008 elections, Omprakash Virendra Kumar Saklecha of BJP won this seat beating Rajkumar Rameshchandra Ahir (Raju) of INC by a margin of 4,765 votes which was 4.64% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 41.29% in the seat.
