In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Manisha Singh of BJP won in this seat defeating Uma Dhurwey of INC by a margin of 4,216 which was 2.34% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 41.26% in 2018 in this seat.
In 2013, Jai Singh Maravi of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Lalan Singh of INC by a margin of 11,206 votes which was 6.84% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 40.22% in the seat.
In the 2008 elections, Jai Singh Maravi of BJP won this seat beating Yashoda Singh of INC by a margin of 14,346 votes which was 11.56% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 36.05% in the seat.
