In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Jaisingh Maravi of BJP won in this seat defeating Dhayan Singh Marco of INC by a margin of 17,267 which was 9.42% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 46.2% in 2018 in this seat.

In 2013, Pramila Singh of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Dhyan Singh of INC by a margin of 13,963 votes which was 8.45% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 44.87% in the seat.

In the 2008 elections, Sundar Singh of BJP won this seat beating Kamla Prasad Singh of INC by a margin of 12,284 votes which was 10.14% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 40.01% in the seat.
