In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Lakhan Ghanghoriya of INC won in this seat defeating Anchal Sonker of BJP by a margin of 35,136 which was 22.45% of the total votes cast for the seat. INC had a vote share of 57.64% in 2018 in this seat.
In 2013, Anchal Sonkar of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Advocate Lakhan Ghanghoria of INC by a margin of 1,155 votes which was 0.81% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 47.29% in the seat.
In the 2008 elections, Lakhan Ghanghoria of INC won this seat beating Anchal Sonkar of BJP by a margin of 6,702 votes which was 6.18% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 47.86% in the seat.
