In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Karan Singh Verma of BJP won in this seat defeating Shailendra Patel of INC by a margin of 15,869 which was 9.2% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 50.39% in 2018 in this seat.
In 2013, Shailendra Ramesh Chandra Patel of INC emerged victorious in this seat beating Karan Singh Kanhaiyalal of BJP by a margin of 744 votes which was 0.46% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 46.63% in the seat.
In the 2008 elections, Karan Singh Verma of BJP won this seat beating Dr Balveer Tomar of INC by a margin of 18,152 votes which was 16.09% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 44.43% in the seat.
