In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Gayatri Raje Puar of BJP won in this seat defeating Thakur Jaysingh of INC by a margin of 27,987 which was 14.9% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 55.07% in 2018 in this seat.
In 2013, Tukojirao Puar of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Rekha Verma of INC by a margin of 50,119 votes which was 31.63% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 63.52% in the seat.
In the 2008 elections, Tukoji Rao Puar of BJP won this seat beating Haji Harun Bhai of INC by a margin of 25,227 votes which was 24.45% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 57.63% in the seat.
