In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Thakur Surendra Singh Naval Singh 'Shera Bhaiya' of IND won in this seat defeating Archana Didi of BJP by a margin of 5,120 which was 2.33% of the total votes cast for the seat. IND had a vote share of 44.87% in 2018 in this seat.

In 2013, Archna Chitnis Didi of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Ajaysingh Raghuvanshi of INC by a margin of 22,827 votes which was 11.55% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 52.86% in the seat.

In the 2008 elections, Archana Didi of BJP won this seat beating Hamid Kazi of NCP by a margin of 32,854 votes which was 21.4% of the total votes polled in the constituency. NCP had a vote share of 55.61% in the seat.
