In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Vishnu Khatri of BJP won in this seat defeating Jayshree of INC by a margin of 13,779 which was 8.46% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 47.77% in 2018 in this seat.
In 2013, Vishnu Khatri of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Mahesh Ratnakar of INC by a margin of 29,304 votes which was 20.84% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 54.5% in the seat.
In the 2008 elections, Brahmanand Ratnakar of BJP won this seat beating Heeralal Urf Heera Bhaiya of INC by a margin of 23,076 votes which was 22.39% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 45.46% in the seat.
