In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Sharad of BJP won in this seat defeating Tejpratap Singh Gond of GGP by a margin of 32,450 which was 17.04% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 40.96% in 2018 in this seat.
In 2013, Ram Pal Singh of INC emerged victorious in this seat beating Ram Prasad Singh of BJP by a margin of 17,342 votes which was 9.85% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 42.42% in the seat.
In the 2008 elections, Bali Singh Maravi of BJP won this seat beating Ramhitt Kol of BSP by a margin of 24,323 votes which was 18.47% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BSP had a vote share of 33.89% in the seat.
