In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Tarbar Singh (Bantu Bhaiya) of INC won in this seat defeating Harvansh Singh Rathore (Sukku Bhaiya) of BJP by a margin of 24,164 which was 14.86% of the total votes cast for the seat. INC had a vote share of 51.95% in 2018 in this seat.

In 2013, Harvansh (Sukku Bhaiya) of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Narayan Prajapati of INC by a margin of 17,880 votes which was 12.13% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 44.91% in the seat.

In the 2008 elections, Naryan Prasad of INC won this seat beating Ram Rakshpal Singh of BJP by a margin of 1,925 votes which was 1.7% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 28.54% in the seat.
