In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Sanjay Uikey of INC won in this seat defeating Anupama Netam of BJP by a margin of 16,480 which was 9.49% of the total votes cast for the seat. INC had a vote share of 45.72% in 2018 in this seat.
In 2013, Sanjay Uieke of INC emerged victorious in this seat beating Bhagat Singh Netam of BJP by a margin of 32,352 votes which was 20.72% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 52.79% in the seat.
In the 2008 elections, Bhagat Singh Netam of BJP won this seat beating Sanjay Uikey Ganpat Singh Uikey of INC by a margin of 4,717 votes which was 3.96% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 31.63% in the seat.
